Just home from choir. Seeing the neurosurgeon’s NP about the hemangioma on my brain tomorrow morning. Taking N3 with me. He gets out of class about an hour before we have to be there. I hope we can find a parking spot fairly easily! They are working on the parking structure so fewer spots are available. No idea how this appointment is going to turn out. Nervous!

Tumor appointment over. Not malignant. No previous imaging to compare to coming back in 6 months after another MRI to see if it's grown. Having no symptoms from it. It's in my frontal lobe where emotions are processed but it has nothing to do with being bipolar.
Walked 1.32 miles.
Feel like I'm coming down with something. Body aches. Tired. Throat a little sore.
It's my talk therapist that's ignoring me not my speech therapist.
Nap time.

Phew... it's not malignant.

Hope you feel better after your nap and that you're not coming down with something.

Stress can make us susceptible to colds... plus you walked a lot.

Keep warm and hydrated.
Thanks for this!

I guess the frontal lobe is not where emotions are processed. But the mass is still on top of the left front part of my brain. It’s about the size of a nickel, she said.

Just trying to remember what else she said. That’s why I brought N3.

I took a shower just now and put on sweats and a t-shirt. Got a heating pad on my side because it feels good.

Feeling better after my nap, etc.

According to N3…. Meningioma not hemangioma. Less than a centimeter/a penny. Radiation if it grows over the next six months. No scans of it prior to November. Seems I'm very far from surgery at this point. In the membrane that surrounds the brain but not in the brain itself.

My heating pad is my best friend. The ozempic wants to irritate my gut, but the heating pad makes it feel all warm and cozy.
