Hi. I’m having slurred speech again and near fainting/dizziness/room spinning which Google says go along with a left-sided brain hemangioma when it’s bleeding. I was just in the ER for suspected blood clot in my lung but they completely missed the hemangioma symptoms! In fact, they mentioned my all-over body shaking but missed that it could be a seizure. I had slurred speech Monday again but nobody did anything about it! My mother just said “I can’t understand you”! All these symptoms together are probably the hemangioma bleeding. I have an MRI on Friday but I wonder if they’ll move it up to today- Thursday. To top it off my choir director is angry with me for missing so much choir! She just st saw me Sunday. Asked if I’d been sick. Of course I said no. lol. My MRI Friday/tomorrow is to see if the tumor has grown. It was the size of a nickel 3 months ago. I see the brain surgeon a week from Friday for the results. Nickel size is big enough to cause slurred speech, etc. and to top it all off the choir director has my new CD set. I’d left it for her with the secretary- my ex!- but she hasn’t mentioned it even though I was at church Sunday and she asked how I am. She thinks I’ve been playing hooky and dropped out of choir!

I'm sorry your choir director is so upset when you have bigger things to worry about. I hope your MRI results are good. That is a scary health issue to have to deal with

I saw the regular dr because I keep getting dizzy and both drs said “drink more water. You’re dehydrated “! They discounted the slurred speech from a few days ago but said the ER for possible PE- blood clot in the lungs- was appropriate! Go figure. And choir is tonight. I need a nap first. lol

Not to mention that when I left the drs office 2 hours ago Caleb said I could call him when I got home. But he keeps dumping my calls!

And this morning the director asked how my MRI went. I told her it was fine. They used a new machine and I’ll find out the results this coming Friday.

I spent yesterday from 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm in the ER. Slurred speech- which I still have off and on- and altered gate. It was like I was drunk. I even flunked the heel-to-toe walk a straight line drunk test! I totally lost my balance and almost fell! The doctor asked if I drink or do drugs!😳This has happened about 4 days the last week and a half. I had two CT scans of my head. I have to see a neurologist. Plus I tested positive for a yeast infection! (Not at the hospital.). And the pharmacy won’t give me my meds because someone sent the scripts to the wrong pharmacy! So yet another thing I have to fix! But! My long-time therapist friend and I talked for 25 minutes straight last evening through yahoo messenger chat! (I had no reception but there was WiFi.). This was an amazing conversation as we so rarely talk on the phone!
So that’s my news.

New meds at new pharmacy are all packed up and ready to be picked up tomorrow. I missed six days this month/week! 😳🤔could that cause “drunk” speech and walking?
Nope! My dr’s nurse just called. Missing meds had nothing to do with it! Just they started my new pack today as they’re a new pharmacy!

We had our end of the year party last night in choir. We stopped rehearsal halfway through and had a party!🎉 🎈. I talked with the director about my recent ER trip and my symptoms.
I’m getting picked up in a little less than 2 hours by someone I don’t know from church to go to the brain surgeon. Just going to review my latest MRI. But I’ll tell her about my latest ER trip- including failing the drunk test!

A friend sent this….
believe it our not i had a friend who lived in Traverse city. She had an episode and the doctors up there told her it was due to the solar flares. She was not the only one that came in with symptoms similar to what you said.

Brain surgeon says Meningioma is NOT the cause of Tuesday! It hasn’t changed in six months. Psych np is barking up the wrong tree.
